If you have connected the Trax device to the mobile app but it will not show up on the map because it has not yet connected to a GPS signal, you may try the following to facilitate the GPS pick up:
1) Make sure to take your Trax OUTSIDE and then switch it On to allow an easier initial GPS connection
2) The best thing is to take the tracker "for a walk", to keep it moving so it does not go into "sleep mode".
3) With some devices the connection process might be more difficult than with others, so it would be good if you try it in an area where the GPS signal is high, (in an open area such as a park, field or hill.)
4) You may also switch it Off and On a couple of times, so it can restart the GPS connection process.
