If you have connected your Trax device to the mobile app but it is not showing on the map it could be because it has not got a GPS connection. Follow the steps below to establish an initial GPS connection.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU DEFINITELY HAVE THE LATEST FIRMWARE AVAILABLE FOR YOUR TRAX DEVICE
1) Take your Trax OUTSIDE and then switch it On to allow an easier initial GPS connection, let it stay in one place for 2 minutes.
2) After this, keep your Trax moving so it does not go into "sleep mode" by taking it for a walk outside.
3) Depending on your location the connection process may take longer, if possible, perform the above steps in an area with good GPS signal, such as an open field or a park.
4) Restarting your device will force the Trax to do the initial step again, do this if you still cannot get it to connect.
