Probably not. Smart luggage (with GPS trackers incorporated) are currently banned by more than 280 IATA member airlines.
The smart luggage ban has taken effect worldwide on January 15th, 2018. From this date, passengers need to prove smart batteries or technology can be quickly removed from luggage. If your carry-on or checked bag has any GPS trackers or lithium ion batteries, they must be easily removable. If they are not – they are not suitable for commercial air travel.
Check with your airline if you are allowed to take portable electronic devices in your hand luggage. If so you will be able to use Trax when you travel to protect your family, property and valuables!
